A study by Queensland University of Technology has found a link between ‘dangerous’ music and drug and alcohol abuse. It suggests that the tempo, lyrics and mode of music can cause listeners to have a lapse, and succumb to cravings that come with drugs and alcohol.

The study uses negative, thrash metal music as an example of what is considered ‘dangerous’ sound.
